EGYPT. Alexandria. Tacitus, 275-276. Tetradrachm (Potin, 21 mm, 7.38 g, 11 h), RY 1 = 275/6. A K KΛ TAKITOC CЄB Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Tacitus to right. Rev. ЄΤΟΥC - A Elpis standing left, holding flower in her right hand and raising skirt with her left. Dattari (Savio) 5516-7. Emmett 3975.1. K&G 110.6. Well struck and attractive. Flan fault on the obverse and with minor roughness on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
